Growing Orchids in a Terrarium
by Daniel L. Geiger, Ph.D. Chair Research Committee – American Orchid Society.

Dr. Daniel Geiger is curator of mollusks at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, and a Visiting Research Scholar with the Huntington Botanical Garden, San Marino, California. He also serves as chair of the Research Committee of the American Orchid Society (AOS). He grows orchids at home in terraria and a small greenhouse, specializing in miniature botanical species. He engages in research on the genus Oberonia, for which he is visiting the SING herbarium. He has written two articles on terrarium culture in AOS ORCHIDS, and his terrarium talk is available to AOS members as a webinar.
