Today we mourn the passing of one of the giants of the orchid community.

Dr. John Elliott, our 1st Vice-President, passed away late last night. Our thoughts go to his family, especially his wife Myra, his children and his grandchildren, who have lost a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.

It is a great loss for OSSEA and for the orchid community. Words alone are unable to describe the profound sadness that we feel as a community.
